Migrating Legacy SLAs to Next-Gen SLAs

It’s been a few months since we launched Next-Gen SLAs and we’ve loved seeing so many of you making the move. We’re eager to get all of our customers onto this new and improved way of managing SLAs, with nobody left behind. So, it’s with this in mind that we have decided to gradually phase out all legacy SLAs and move them to Next-Gen.

When will the migration happen?

Now! After all, there's no time like the present. Simply update Time to SLA to the newest version and you'll be good to go in no time.

How will the migration happen?

We know moving home can be hard work, so we’ve created a free migration tool to make the process seamless. It's your own personal moving service that’s taking you from A to B, whilst you just sit back and relax. Simply follow the steps below.

1. Click on the “Migrate Legacy SLAs” button on the SLA Configurations page when it is available at the end of April 2021.


2. You’ll then be asked to select the legacy SLAs that you would like to migrate to Next-Gen.

a) To migrate all of your SLAs, simply click on the toggle button.


b) If you only want to migrate a select few SLAs to Next-Gen, then do not click on the toggle button. That way you’ll be able to choose the relevant SLAs from the selection box.


3. When you click on the “next” button, the migration tool will start moving your selected legacy SLAs to Next-Gen and you will be able to see the progress live on screen.


4. The migration is complete 🙌


You will now be able to see your legacy SLAs within Next-Gen and start using the powerful tools in this Time to SLA release.
