You can select statuses that trigger the SLA countdown to pause.

On this page, you will learn how to Set Pause Conditions for SLAs.

Go to SLA configuration

  1. Log into your Jira account.
  2. Click on Time to SLA in the header menu to see the TTS menu.
  3. Go to SLA Configuration.

Set pause conditions

  1. Click  in the row of the SLA that you would like to set pause conditions on.
  2. Go to Set pause conditions.

  3. The Pause SLA pop-up screen will appear.

  4. Tick the status(es) that you want the SLA countdown to pause.
  5. Click OK.
  6. You will now see the PAUSE icon in the row of that particular SLA.

    The SLA countdown does not pause if the SLA Goal is a negotiation date, but you can still view the time spent in paused status(es).
