Time to SLA does not count holidays when calculating the remaining time on an SLA. So when it is a holiday, the timer stops.
You can define holidays as either full days or custom hours if it is not a full day (i.e. half days) and recurring or non-recurring.

On this page, you will learn how to:

  • Add a holiday.
  • Delete a holiday.

You can only add or delete holidays if you are creating a new calendar or updating an existing one.

To update a holiday, you must first delete it and then add the new one.

Add a holiday

Go To Create a Calendar or Update an Existing Calendar (see Create a Calendar).

  1. Add a Name for the holiday.
  2. Select a Date for the holiday from the date picker.
  3. If it is a recurring holiday tick the box, otherwise leave it unticked.
  4. If it is a full day’s holiday, select the Whole Day button. If not, then select the Half Day button.

  5. If you selected the Half Day button, then enter the start and end time for the non-working hours.
  6. Click Add.

  7. The holiday will now appear in the list.

  8. Click Add or Update.

The holiday will NOT be added unless you add or update the calendar.

Delete a holiday

  1. Click Delete.
  2. The holiday will disappear from the list.

  3. Click Add or Update.

The holiday will NOT be deleted unless you add or update the calendar.
