Asset custom field for JIRA Service Desk customer portal

You can add multiple custom fields to JIRA Service Desk customer portal. And you can filter its content by asset type(s) or saved filters.

Before adding a custom field to Customer Portal please add it on project screens.


To add custom fields to a request type:

  1. Go to Jira Administration > Projects.
  2. Select a project from the Project list.
    Welcome guide screen is displayed.
  3. Go to Project settings.
  4. Select Request types.
  5. Choose a request type in which you want to use a multilevel structure and click Edit fields.
    Fields screen is displayed.
  6. Click Add a field.

  7. Select custom fields and click Apply


    Now, asset custom field is ready to use on JIRA Service Desk customer portal
