Updates to App Pricing From 1 February 2021

In a mission to keep bringing our customers the very best products and services, we’re updating the pricing of our Time to SLA and Enhancer Plugin for Jira apps. These updates will affect Server and Data Center licenses from 1 February 2021. We’ve broken down everything that you need to know about the updates below.

Why We’re Updating Our App Pricing

We take changes to our app pricing seriously. In fact, this will be our first pricing change since May 2019. The reasons for this update are threefold:

  1. To reflect all of the new features and functionalities that we’ve introduced to Time to SLA and the Enhance Plugin for Jira over the last 18 months.
  2. To allow us to continue to improve our products and release new features that our customers love.
  3. To enable us to invest in our Cloud infrastructure, in light of Atlassian’s recent announcement that it is going to become a cloud-first company.

1. New Features and Functionalities

We’ve introduced a whole host of new features and functionalities to our apps over the last 18 months. These changes have been a result of us identifying gaps in the market and through direct requests from our customers. Here’s a reminder of some of the new features that we’ve released recently:

  • Launching Time to SLA for Jira Cloud in order to bring the best SLA tracking app to more users, whilst meeting the growing demand for Cloud apps.
  • An integration of Time to SLA that gives customers advanced capabilities within Automation for Jira. This includes new automation triggers and capabilities such as the ability to send a message to MS Teams when an SLA is breached.
  • A Time to SLA integration with Slack that allows teams to receive SLA notifications directly within Slack. We know that our customers use Slack across their internal teams and this new feature has further aligned our app with business ways of working.
  • Dynamic countdowns within Time to SLA’s much-loved SLA panel. This has allowed teams to more easily keep track of their SLAs.
  • Time to SLA users can now order their issues by SLA attributes (including elapsed duration, remaining duration, start date, end date and target date).
  • A new calendar system with multiple time frames, recurrent holidays, half-day holidays, different timezones and daylight saving time (DST) within the Enhancer Plugin for Jira. This is perfect for dynamic and multinational teams.
  • New Enhancer Plugin for Jira gadgets including the Number Custom Field Analyzer to allow users to keep getting the best insights from their data.
  • Performance improvements across both apps.

2. A Culture of Continuous Improvement

Not only is the price adjustment a reflection of the new features and functionalities within both apps, but it will also allow us to keep releasing features that our customers love. We have a culture of continuous improvement which means that our work is never done, as we’re constantly thinking of new ways to improve our apps and the experience of our customers. The pricing changes will allow us to continue to improve and be at the forefront of the latest developments. For example, we’re currently working on lots of exciting updates, including event-based SLA features within Time to SLA to support even more complex SLA definitions (such as starting an SLA with a field change) and defining multiple goals for a single SLA. 3. Changes to Atlassian Products 

You'll also be aware of Atlassian's recent move to become a cloud-first company, with less of a focus on its Server and Data Center products. As a result of this, we're going to be investing in our infrastructure over the next couple of years in order to launch Cloud versions of our apps, whilst supporting our customers with their migration to Cloud.
